The Green Power of Sustainable Partnership

As the first retailer who echoes with Taiwan’s renewable energy initiative “RE10x10”, Watsons Taiwan has recently announced its partnership with Sunny Founder, a local green electricity provider, aiming to achieve at least 10% green electricity use by 2025. Currently, Watsons Taiwan has 11 stores using green energy, and it is expected the number will reach 30 stores by the end of this year. With the use of green energy, Watsons Taiwan has reduced carbon dioxide emissions by 11,757 kilograms, equivalent to the carbon dioxide absorption of 1,000 trees in a year. 

Besides green energy, Watsons offers more than 2,000 sustainable choices products in its stores, making it easier for customers to make purchase decisions that contribute to a more sustainable world.
