Responsibilities:
Ensure availability and profitability of assigned products' assortment, through coordinating with current suppliers and searching for the new suppliers, and implementing promotional activities.
Suggest yearly action plan and turnover/margin targets for own categories, implement approved plan and targets, ensure sales targets higher than budget to consider rebates/promotion/unsold.
Investigate current assortment's ability to offer a wide range of choice within purchasing power while being aligned with customer needs
Design detailed assortment, review implantation rules and space allocation within category to reflect new assortment and priorities
Monitor market and offer, continuously search for new suppliers & receive new suppliers' proposals
Renew contracts yearly and review trading terms with suppliers within own category
Requirement:
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Commerce or equivalent.
Required language(s): Chinese, English
Preferred language(s): Bahasa Malaysia.
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent. Job role in Analyst/Consultant or Inventory Control.
Full-Time positions available.
Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
