    Responsibilities:
  • Ensure availability and profitability of assigned products' assortment, through coordinating with current suppliers and searching for the new suppliers, and implementing promotional activities.
  • Suggest yearly action plan and turnover/margin targets for own categories, implement approved plan and targets, ensure sales targets higher than budget to consider rebates/promotion/unsold.
  • Investigate current assortment's ability to offer a wide range of choice within purchasing power while being aligned with customer needs
  • Design detailed assortment, review implantation rules and space allocation within category to reflect new assortment and priorities
  • Monitor market and offer, continuously search for new suppliers & receive new suppliers' proposals
  • Renew contracts yearly and review trading terms with suppliers within own category


    Requirement:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Commerce or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): Chinese, English
  • Preferred language(s): Bahasa Malaysia.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent. Job role in Analyst/Consultant or Inventory Control.
  • Full-Time positions available.
